August 17, 2001 Edward A Mobley retired from Evans Lumber Company after nearly 10 years of service. Ed worked in our Hardware Department after coming to us from the old Dunbar Lumber Company.
In addition to taking care of customers in the Hardware Department, Ed was in sole charge of our Senco air tools sales and repairs.
On Ed's last date we celebrated with a cake and a gift to Ed of a Key machine. Ed claims to have made 1 million keys in his ten years, but we can't verify that amount and Ed refused to take the key machine home with him. We suspect that the amount of keys was somewhat less.
