June 20, 2002 will be a milestone for Pat Evans co-owner of Evans Lumber Company. Pat will have been working at the same job for 70 years. Few of us could imagine doing the same job for 70 years, much less imagine that after 70 years and being 88 years old that we would still be working with no intentions of ever quitting work. Pat celebrated his 88th birthday on March 17th 2002. St. Patricks day, that's where he got the nick name "Pat".
Pat still works everyday although after 60 years he managed to cut his time back slightly. |
